Hawa Mahal:Hawa Mahal is located in Jaipur city. The museum was built by Maharajah Sawai Pratap Singh in the year 1799, it has a honeycomb structure like the Palace itself. It was famously called as the Palace of Winds, and it has thousands of small windows. If you look from outside, from a distance, it looks like a beehive.
Calcutta Indian Museum– The museum is located in the heart of the Calcutta city on the Jawaharlal street, this huge building has a case brimmed with surprises and the old age documentaries. It is a place where the dinosaurs stand in silence and the paintings are worth watching. If you are entering a huge castle with old age coming out from all the nooks and corners. It is a feeling which one can experience only when he/she is present at that place.
The Calcutta Indian Museum is divided into six sections- Archeology, anthropology, geology, zoology, industry and art. All of them have a special special significance. It takes at least 3 days to see the entire museum.
Jaigarh Fort- It is one of the spectacular forts located in the complex, the fort offers splendor image of the Rajputana and Mughal architecture. It is of the unique reflection of the Rajsathani culture and regime. One can even view the royalty of Rajasthan that not only in this museum, but also in the sands that surround the roads of Rajasthan.
Karnataka Government Museum– It is located in the heart of the city of Bangalore. It is oldest museums in the country. Established in the year 1856, it stands at the Kasturba Marg. The Museum houses sandalwood crafts, Rajasthani embroidery, and antiques from Mohenjodaro and terracotta from Mathura. In fact, this place not only reflect Karnataka architecture, but has also collection of the various arts from all over the country. It is truly unique and the best place.
Maharaja Sawai Singh Museum– It is beautiful and elegant museum known for elegance and images of the past. This museum was constructed way back in 1959, then it was renamed as Jaipur Museum. This museum depicts the bygone era in a contemporary way. The Museum holds several attractions for its Royal Bagghis, very old but retaining color of the past.
